เนื่องในวโรกาสมหามงคล เฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 7 รอบ 84 พรรษา ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ พ่อของแผ่นดิน อันเป็นที่รักของพสกนิกรทั้งประเทศ ชาวภูเก็ต ชาวอันดามัน ชาวไทย ชาวโลก ร่วมกับจังหวัดภูเก็ต องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต นำโดยนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายไพบูลย์ อุุปัติศฤงค์์ เทศบาลนครภูเก็ต บริษัท สิงห์ คอร์เปอเรชั่น จำกัด เชื่อมกับเครือข่าย World Musiq ร่วมด้วยทอดด์ ทองดี มีความยินดีที่จะประกาศเป็นครั้งแรกสำหรับ เทศกาล “ภูเก็ต ดนตรีโลก” เฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ Phuket World Musiq Festival เพื่อยกย่องดนตรีไร้พรมแดน ของอันดามัน ของไทย ของโลก จึงได้สร้างสรรค์งานขึ้นมาเพื่อตอกย้ำว่าภูเก็ต คือ International Artistic Hub และเป็นศูนย์รวมแห่งความรัก ความศรัทธาไร้พรมแดน ในระหว่างวันที่ 2 – 5 ธันวาคม 2554 ณ สะพานหิน จังหวัดภูเก็ต
เทศกาลดนตรีไร้พรมแดนนี้จะประกอบไปด้วยการแสดงและกิจกรรมมากมาย อาทิ การแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมของจังหวัดภูเก็ต ของภาคใต้ ของประเทศไทย และของโลก การแสดงดนตรีแนว World Musiq (ดนตรีพื้นบ้านผสมสากล) นำโดยศิลปินชั้นนำในประเทศ อาทิ ลานนา คัมมินส์, โกไข่นายสน, ขุนอิน of Beat Siam, ตลกหน้าม่าน, ซอ the SIS และศิลปินจากต่างประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นดนตรี Gnawa จากมอร็อคโค จากอเมริกา เป็นต้น การแสดงพื้นบ้าน การแสดงของนักเรียนทั้งไทยและนานาชาติในจังหวัดภูเก็ต การออก Booth สาธิต หรือแสดงผลิตภัณฑ์ หัตถกรรม และหัตถศิลป์จากสถาบันการศึกษาและหน่วยงานเพื่อสังคมต่างๆ รวมถึงการออกร้านอาหารภูเก็ตที่มีคุณภาพ 30 ซุ้ม และที่พิเศษสุดในวันที่ 5 ธันวาคมมหาราช กับพิธีวางพานพุ่ม จุดเทียนชัยถวายพระพร ต่อด้วยแสดงพิเศษชุด Father of Love “พ่อแห่งความรัก” นำโดยศิลปินแห่งชาติ เนาวรัตน์ พงษ์ไพบูลย์ และการร่วมถวายพระพรของสถานทูตและศิลปินนานาชาติ
The Province of Phuket, the Provincial Administrative Organization of Phuket, Phuket Municipality and the people of Phuket together with the Singha Corporation & Le Musiq invite all to the 1st “Phuket World Musiq Festival” to be held December 2nd-5th, 2011 (4pm to Midnight) at Saphan Hin Center Stage, right in the center of Phuket City. It’s FREE!!
The festival is staged in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 84th Birthday Anniversary (7th Buddhist Cycle) and features World Musiq from the 4 corners of Thailand such as the Northern Beauty of Lanna Cummins, the Southern Fun of KoKaiNaiSon, the Central Plains Rap of “Na Yong” & Team as well as the granddaddy of Isan World Musiq, Nga Caravan & the Siam Beat of Kun Inn.
World Musiq comes to Phuket in the form of the USA’s “AMERICANA”, the BATUCADA drums of Brazil, Phuket’s own “URUK” Sea Gypsies, the Middle East World Musiq Superstar Hassan Hakmoun & Todd Tongdee’s “HIMMAPAN” World Musiq & Dance show. Add to this 30 booths of Phuket World Food & exhibitions on His Majesty’s Music, the Best of Phuket & you’ve got Phuket World Fun!!!
The festival begins on December 2nd with the moving “Phuket Symphony of Youth” and culminates December 5th with National Artist Naowarat Pongpaiboon leading all in the original “Father of Love” celebration in honor of His Majesty.
